Trade shows and events are the best ways to connect with people and generate solid leads. They have come to you and are already interested in what you do. You can’t ask for more as a salesperson. From a branding standpoint, you have two goals.
Look slick, so they want to come up and talk to you. You should be easy to identify from a distance and 100% on brand.
Have a giveaway that directs them back to your company. Put your website on it!

Send it as a gift (package it nicely with your card and note) to your prospect as a warm introduction. Then give it a day or two after arrival and make contact. The social rule of reciprocity will almost always get you a conversation.
